After the initial warm up to the new people in her house, Jaelah enjoyed her special day!! She loved her Elmo cake....
She loved opening her gifts and thought this sneezey baby Elmo was too funny.....
She enjoyed playing with Jae-min's little friends and it was so nice to see her get involved with them by the end of the day. My heart did a little leap for joy as she ran and chased the boys because if you have followed our story at all, you know what a HUGE step that is.It was fun to celebrate her and to see her enjoy herself made it even better.
By the end of the night we had this little pouty face.....

We were so happy to see Jaelah having fun at her party. She knew it was for her and loved every minute of it. Having a small crowd was a good idea. She has come a long ways and we see improvement every day! Jae-min is a clown and just loves life. We laugh so much at some of the things that he comes out with.

Yay for Jaelah chasing those boys and for being comfortable enough to celebrate her birthday with new 'house intruders'! I can totally relate. Each teeny tiny step forward is worth cheering for...or at least it is with our little guy. Hoping that this day brought a new little light in her heart and that she will continue to improve each day forward. Happy birthday!
