Summer Roundup

This weekend marks the "official" end to summer so I thought I'd do a little round up to sum up our summer happenings....
Jae-min learned to fish....first in the front yard....
And then at the pond!!!
We attended our local Dragon Boat Festival where we indulged in some yummy Korean food and watched the dragon boats on a hot and steamy day.
We ate ice cream....
Lots and lots of sherbert for us!!!!
And some of us had some tantrums, and some grouchy moments too.....
We loved swimming and sliding in our blow up pool in the back yard.
And spent lots of time digging and jumping the waves at the beach.
We did lots of relaxing and took lots of walks and bike rides.
We went to the "little" zoo bunches of times, and the "big" zoo once.
And some of us did alittle more tantruming out and about......
We found, caught, and held our very first frog!!!!
And practiced our golf swing at the driving range.
And we practiced some more.....
We spent lots of time as a family and with family and friends.....
This summer was ALOT different than last summer.  Well, if you recall, last summer was just about the HARDEST months of our lives.  While this summer was better we still have lots of things to work on....lets just say we're certainly not in a "perfect" place yet!!!!
Its sad to see the lazy days of summer come to a close.. but we're ready for Fall!!!
(Disclaimer:  Before anyone panics about the fact that Jae-min does not have his glasses on in some of these photos, please note that some were taken before he actually got glasses)  Phew....that explains it!!!  Haha

Looks like you all had a great summer. We are sure that next summer will be much better. We are praying that our little one sees how lucky she is to have such a great mom and dad and big brother. Love you all. Nana and Nanu

It was a great summer, even though it was so hot! The kids enjoyed themselves and have grown so much in the past year. Looking forward to fall and pumpkin picking!!
