Happy Chuseok!!!

Yesterday the people of Korea celebrated Chuseok.  Chuseok is a Harvest celebration very similar to our Thanksgiving.  We decided to celebrate with a trip to our local HMart.  It was so fun to walk around the market hearing Korean being spoken, smelling Korean foods, and of course sampling some new and adventurous things.  We stocked up on some Korean snacks and some Korean goodies!!!!  It was fun to immerse ourselves in just alittle bit of culture, but it sure did make us homesick for Korea.
Jae-min wanted to bust into these little gems right away.  These may look like cheese but they actually are fish cakes (yuck I know).  It all came flooding back as Jae-min dug in.  You see....Jaelah's Omma had given her some of these when we met her in Korea.  And Jae-min became OBSESSED!!!!  Like every 2 seconds wanting to eat another.  I had actually forgotten about it until his OBSESSION came back in full force after that first bite.  He again can't get enough.
Jaelah found this adorably Pororo packaged soap.  She REALLY wanted to take it home with us, but after seeing the price of 24.99 for soap!!!!!!  we decided a picture with it would do.
We ventured to a delicious Korean restaurant for a yummy meal of Mandu, Bulgogi, and Bimbibop.  Yummo!!!!
Happy Chuseok!!!!  We're feeling very homesick today for Korea.

What a nice celebration. You look like you really enjoyed yourselves. It is nice to keep the kids involved in their culture. They are both so precious. Love to you all, Nana and Nanu
